Video capture device is inactive in audio mixer

Video capture device says its inactive in the aux/mixer. I watched at least 20 tutorials on the matter but nothing seems to work for me. It seems OBS is pick up background noise in my bedroom only. Microphone set seems to be the only option OBS recognizes as a viable audio source. So when I playback in the recording nothing but the noise in the bedroom. OBS reminds me of a BMW I owned once , its so sophisticated overly complicated when something breakdown.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

There is "Attach files" button. It may allow to you to attach small text files (like log files of OBS) to your posts. Just locate the required log file from all log files (OBS main menu Help > Log files > Show Log Files) and try to attach it to your post, here, on the forum.
