Question / Help Video artefacts while recording and/or streaming with OBS

Hi guys,

I am new to the scene and I recently acquired a avermedia extremecap u3 to record my ps4 gaming. While my OBS settings work fine even while I play and stream on the PC (for example LoL or HotS) I have some problems when recording via the U3. As you guys can see in the video (http://youtu.be/XaKME6G0FoU) there are artefacts showing. I changed all kinds of settings but they just won"t go away. Do you have any ideas or solutions? It will be appreciated :)

does the same thing show up in the avermedia software without OBS because it looks like something with either the hardware or the cabling. I would take this issue to their forums.

I will say that you probably need to increase your scene buffering to 700 but I dont think that will fix the issues since the probably seems to be resident at the cap card.
