Question / Help Video adapter?

Hello, i have in my pc gtx 660, and i can choose this card in obs as video adapter, but my question is - when i put the second graphic card into my pc (9600gt) can i use it as "grabber" i mean choose it in video adapter and play any games with gtx 660 ?
does it increase performance? or i just unterstand it wrong?
ps sorry i know that my english is not as good as i want but i think you guys understand my problem?
 
You have to run OBS and the game on the same graphics card if you want OBS to capture the game.
