I have a dual monitor setup already and when i use quick sync (Because x264 causes high cpu usage) i get this ghost monitor that i can drag stuff over to and my mouse. It really annoying to have it there. Any way to use Quick sync without having to use this annoying ghost monitor?

Its hard to find details on headless support (that means being able to use quicksync without needing a virtual monitor). To my knowledge it depends on the generation of quicksync, e.g. the intel chip generation you have and the support of your mainboard. And then it can be possible that you also need windows 8.1 for it to be supported by windows.
(On my haswell generation pc I can use headless mode under win 8.1, but on my older Sandy Bridge system with 8.1 I need to activate a virtual monitor for quicksync to work)
