Question / Help Use secondary GPU for encoding

I have a couple of spare graphics cards laying around (namely a Quadro FX3700 and a GTX 750 Ti), so I was wondering if I could offload encoding to one of them to lighten the burden on my GTX 980 and i7-5820K.

I do not believe that the Quadro supports H.264 - would that be required?
 
It would actually be required.

And GPU based h264 encoding would not be good for using for encoding for the streaming. All the GPU encoders offer a worse quality per bitrate compared to x264
