Question / Help Urgent Help!!

Hi Forum goers,

I'm in a pickle with OBS right now and i'm hoping at least one of you can help me , i'll go into as much detail as possible because I would like this resolved asap

Basically whenever I try record a video in .mp4 for instead of flv. i'm getting no audio , I had to switch up to mp4 due to my editing software not accepting flv.. And no it's not my mic because I can skype and talk in game just fine so if anyone would be able to help that'd be teriffic if you need more info don't hesitate to ask me

Download VLC and play back the video in that to test. If there's audio there, then it's a problem with your editing suite not having good CODEC support.

Also, NEVER RECORD TO MP4. It's fragile and if OBS crashes at any point, the entire recording is irrecoverable. It's a pile of digital garbage. Here's how to fast-remux over to MP4 after recording to FLV:
