Question / Help Upload Speed Dropping When Streaming

I normally stream fine for a few hours at a time. However, recently I have been noticing that after a couple of hours of streaming my upload speeds suddenly drop. I usually stream at around 1500 bitrate and my internet seems to keep up with that.

Average Speeds:

39mb/s download
2.9mb/s upload

Speeds when streaming for a while:
39.36mb/s download
1.05mb/s

This has been happening for the last 2 days and I can't seem to figure out why. My knowledge of this is not the best...

It could be many things. The upload and download aren't able to be maxed at the same time. If you're downloading while streaming, or anyone else is using the connection for downloading, it can cause this issue. It could also be an ISP, or simply an issue where a modem/router needs reset.

Where do you live? (country) I know in New Zealand some ISP's will start to slow your upload if you are uploading constantly. They do this and when you challenge it (or at least when i have in the past) they say they are throttling to make sure all the user's on their network get fair access to the internet. Of course not all ISP's do this, but it may be worth contacting them!
