You didn't do all the things. Please review the pinned posts on this forum. There's other threads on this forum regarding issues with audio you should consult.
You can always install the previous OBS version you were using to keep working and do a portable install of the new version to test and see if it works as intended or need to update plugins (or other resources) before commiting to the update.

Thank you @Suslik V - logs gave me nothing actionalbe or releated to sound, so I'm exploring youtube vids.Also, there is https://obsproject.com/tools/analyzer tool (sometimes may help to diagnose the problems by yourself).
