hey i keep gettin a popup sayin

could not initialize direct x10 on intel(r)4 series internal chipset.
it goes on to say 3 reason why,gpu not supported(direct 10x is required
running windows vista(im on windows 7)and my video driver is out of date,(i tryed to update it via the properties way and it says its up to date.i would imagine it should work as my pc is kinda new

Drivers update won't enable directx 10 as intel 4 series is too old, about 8 years old. If your computer is a desktop tower that can fit a PCI-E x16 graphics card, just get any cheap directx 11 or newer graphics card.

Your CPU might also be quite old to support more then 480p if using x264 encoder. Whats your CPU?

That system would run OBS poorly at best, and probably isn't worth even the small the money it would take to put a DX10-capable discrete GPU in it.
