np. Monitor capture doesn't work with switchable graphics, this is because the intel handles the desktop and the nvidia handles the game. this is a design flaw with nVidia optimus for programs like OBS.

Not if you want to have the ease of using game capture without going through A LOT of reconfiguration to switch between the two. Its a real headache.

Just remove OBS from the nvidia control panel or force OBS to the Intel, then restart OBS, go to settings, video tab and switch to the intel again. once thats done, monitor capture should work but game capture will not. reverse the process for game capture.

nvidia control pane, make a profile for OBS then set it to integrated instead of high performance.

Log file shows this: Trying to hook process: Fallout4Launcher.exe

I am guessing you didn't chose the right application to capture. Launcher might check the updates and have some options, and launches the actual game. (Fallout4.exe maybe?)

the main problem being, he had a monitor capture OVER the game capture. layered windows will show top first.
