I have spent much time trying to troubleshoot this issue, and it seems that I am far from the only one. In streaming with OBS I am attempting to make it so that in my stream viewers can hear the following:
Game sound
PC Sound
External microphone
Xbox Live party chat
Xbox Live game chat
Currently I have my stream configured so that viewers can hear everything EXCEPT xbox live game chat. I was able to get party chat to come through my stream by changing the party chat output setting within the volume settings on the Xbox. I am currently using:
Xbox One
Elgato HD60 Game Capture
OBS Classic
a40 TR edition w/TR mixamp
Blue Yeti microphone
In addition I have tried turning on analog audio in my Elgato to pick up game and party chat via my mixamp. This works, but I then lose any audio which is being output through my HDMI from my Xbox.
Any suggestions or comments are appreciated. Hopefully this can help others who have had similar issues.
