Question / Help Ultra super computer with low upload speed

No need to list my specs. My upload is 0.2-0.4kbs. I'd like to get a clean looking stream. 720p is probably out of the option so 640x360 is optimal I would assume. What are ways I can improve the quality other than increasing the preset?

I also have a question, is there a difference between 30 and 60fps in terms of quality? I heard from someone that 60fps is better (in terms of bitrate quality). Cheers to a reply. Many thanks.

Your chances to be able to stream with a 0.2 upload are close to 0 without having your ping skyrocketing, you dropping frames and your stream looking horrendous. You need a bit of room left for data transfer.


With your upload speed i would say try a 360p stream @ 25fps or lower.

The quality won't be worth watching,

I would definitely try to get a better connection , if it is not possible in your location you should go with youtube instead of livestreaming !




60Fps are without a doubt extremely nice to look at and very soft to the eyes, just go to twitch and check some streams with 60fps and compare them to 30fps streams. It looks super smooth and i prefer it.

It is like eating bread without anything on it, you can get full but it is way more enjoyable with some butter and jam on it!

Yeah, with that upload you can't stream at any video quality that could ever be considered "good" or "clean". Sorry :/
