So ive been playing around with the settings alot but i cant seem to find the right combination of settings to allow me to stream without my livestream having any lag. I know it is possible because i can livestream pretty consistently off of my elgato program even though i have to do it in 420p. I do not have the best computer but i am sure there is something i can do to be able to livestream withoout my stream lagging i just need to find the right settings. Here is my log of my last attempt:

Im having audio issues too my voice is echoing but i think that could be because my stream is skipping frames still? Im not too sure but please help me as soon as possible that would be greatly appreciated

Ok, one thing after the other, first of all, your CPU is old, slow and just a dualcore, your GPU is even slower and maybe even older :D You only seemed to have tested using a cpu preset that increases the cpu usage (fast) instead of lowering the cpu usage by choosing a preset that decreases it. (superfast/ultrafast)

Then I would have to ask, why are you using the Elgato, are you planning to stream console footage or are you capturing your PC's output with it? In the latter case you will probably want to remove it from your setup. The capture methods OBS has to capture your PC output will perform better than using a Capture Card in a one PC setup. If you plan to stream console input, nevermind.

With the settings you tested 80-90% of all produced frames were just duplicates because the CPU couldnt create new ones, so I would recommend to check if using the superfast or ultrafast preset works better. OBS should also let you know in red letters on the bottom left of the Window that its "Taking too long to encode...". If lowering the preset is not enough, you would have to lower your resolution and framerate even further.

For the voice echo, if you watch your stream in a browser on the same PC, mute it, or OBS will hear its output and send it again, hence you get an echo.
