I have been having issues streaming the last couple of months. Speed is 50/10. I have replaced the modem and all cables inside and outside the house. When I had issues today I tried 5 different twitch servers and had the same result. Log attached.
settings seem ok. Your connection on the other hand does look like its having issues. try downloading shaperprobe to check if maybe your traffic is being throttled (by either your isp or a bad connection somewhere). for the best result i'd hook the pc directly up to the modem then run shaperprobe, then try obs. if it doesnt have a connection problem then it's a cable somewhere inside your house.
I ran shaperprobe both while streaming and when I wasn't. There were no problems reported each time I ran it. I just recently had my ISP out and they replaced all the cables inside and outside the house. Thanks for the reply.
When I was streaming yesterday I did lose my connection a couple of times but nothing compared to the issues I am having today.
you shouldnt run it while streaming or watching a stream. you also shouldnt run speedtest while streaming or watching a stream or youtube video. reason being streaming uses your upload, watching uses your download, thus only giving shaperprobe the remaining bandwidth available during a test rather than the full amount. other than that i would blame twitch's servers. the ones i have less problems with are the virgina(va) and va secondery, and chicago. but im also east coast
I have had the best results with VA. That isn't the case today obviously. I have tried many servers today with the same result. I don't have an option to pick a secondary VA server or I would definitely give it a shot.
