Hello everyone, I've been using OBS for quite some time, faced some issues in the past but today I'm afraid I'm bringing an issue that might not be necessarily from OBS but I'd like some clearance on it.
I've restarted streaming this week to Twitch and while looking at the dashboard I noticed that my stream was sort of lagging, except it wasn't lag because there was no frameskips, more like buffering issues. I've checked Twitch help center to check the latest settings they recommend for OBS and there was a buffer value that so happen to be wrong, however the problem still persists. So I went to the "dropped-frames-disconnecting-lag-read-this-first" thread looking for possible problems, and just to be sure it was Twitch problem not OBS I tried streaming to hitbox.tv and to my surprise the stream was perfect. From what I've checked on the log that is annexed to this thread and it complains about slow server connection which is stunning not only because I'm from Portugal and I have choosen the Paris server, as the JTVPing also says that Paris the server with the least ping (40ms). I've checked for speed throttling using Shaper Probe but it failed to find any issues. I have a 100mb/s ISP contract so the 2500 bitrate isn't overload as I've also tried with 1200 and problem persists.
So I'd like to know if I should directly contact Twitch about the issue or if there is something else I could try with OBS to solve the problem. Thanks in advance for your attention.
