Question / Help Tunneling effect when doing monitor capture.

That might not be the best name for what's happening, but that's basically the only way to describe what is happening. Here is an image showing what I mean:

So what is the actual problem, because I don't see a problem?
You don't see that OBS repeats in the window? Maybe I need to put it full screen.

Shouldn't OBS be hidden? I mean, I guess there is no real problem and everyone has this happen to them. I don't know. To me it just seems like OBS should hide itself when capturing the while screen because you then get this recursive view. I've had this issue with a few other capturing program. Is this not even an issue? I don't know.

A monitor capture will capture everything on the monitor. If you just want to show a single window, do a window capture.
The hall of mirrors effect is normal if a program captures itself.

Is there no way to not capture itself? Some kind of setting? If not, sorry to waste your time.
