Question / Help Trying to stream DayZ SA, got black screen

Well, as the title says, im trying to stream DayZ, and i got it to full screen capture, and there is no problem, i see that it is recording, but when open the game up, the screen goes black (i see the game fine and can play normally) but the stream screen goes black.
I tried adding it to windowed borderless, but that didnt help me either (at least i think i did it right)7

does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

Perhaps you didn't set up game capture right? Game capture needs to be used on the game when you are fully in-game. You need to alt-tab out back to OBS, add/configure game capture to use the window, press OK, and then alt-tab back into the game again.

You might also have to use game capture hotkey, though I'm not entirely sure. Also, OBS may have to be running as administrator. I would have to see a log though.

I asked another person I know who has DayZ standalone to try it and he said there were no problems.

I cant find it in the tab under game capture, so i have it in fullscreen capture right now, but where do i find the log?

This is due to the fact that you are on laptop, and it's using the wrong adapter. See viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5965 for instructions on how to set it to use the nvidia instead of the intel. (Do not do it in OBS' video settings, do it via the nvidia control panel)
