Yes, it's also brand new and it captures normally on the other setting. It also captures well in the Elgato software.

If you're going to buy new equipment, ask yourself, what is the 2nd PC really for? If it's for chat monitoring and stuff, the one you have already is fine. If you want to improve the quality of your stream, take a look at these graphs for what will get you the best H.264 encode today:

Be sure about exactly what you want from the second PC before you spend your money, make sure it's money well spent!

Hey guys, you have all been really helpful so I hope I can ask another question. I'm trying to stream on my main gaming rig and getting lag as well in World of Tanks.

Again, I'm doing it through x264 and the CPU doesn't get over 15%, but I still get tons of render and encoder lag. I keep getting encoder lag and it says to try a faster encoder, so I'm trying to go faster. I feel like I'm just missing something.

I mean, this is an I9-7900x overclocked to 3.3. It's an absolute beast, why is it having problems as well.

Here is my current log file, https://obsproject.com/logs/4P2RyNtvjS2F5Htc

I'd recommend setting your bitrate higher than 2500. Your max alloted bitrate is between 5000 and 6000 so do a speedtest to see which works best for you for 1080p streaming. In fact, I'd also recommend changing the Output Scale Resolution to 720p. Then your preset should be set to "very fast". I know 1080p should be doable on your pc, but I have no experience with World of Tanks and this game could possibly have high cpu utilization.
Not sure why these are different for you, but your advanced settings should be on default, Color Format NV12, YUV color 601, YUV Range Partial.

Hey mate, I like colour space 709, they are actually the same colours I think, just that 709 also defines the res in it's meta.

Can you place an fps cap in World of Tanks? That is, set the graphics lower than max, then check your FPS... Then actually manually cap it to like 20% fps lower than what you're max is? This might help you.
