Question / Help Trying to record Just audio

So, say I'm doing a collab recording with someone, and I just want to record just Skype's Audio, and (normally) my games audio and visual. Anyone know how to do this with some setting changes (or whatever) I do not know if having skype minimized with it being a window capture will still record it's sound.

Can't you use Sound Recorder or whatever the windows program is called? I don't think OBS can deliberately capture no video (some people do it unintentionally). You might try setting the maximum downscale with UltraFast preset and very little bitrate so that you can just discard the video it captures.

So Skype as its own track entirely or mixed with the game audio?

For Skype by it's self, you can try MP3 Skype Recorder. http://voipcallrecording.com/
It does record your audio too but it puts them in different channels. You would need to split the stereo track into mono tracks in Audacity and then you have one track for yourself and one for your friend which can be synced when editing.

Well, I figured something out, If I do a sub-region, minimize it to 16x16pixels, then put it in a corner, it just shows up as a small light blue box. So I can record both.
