Question / Help Trying to capture skype videocall with window capture (cam is black)

Hello,

i'm relatively new to streaming, and I don't have a webcam at the moment. So i made 2 skype accounts, and log 1 from laptop and 1 from computer. I make a skype videocall and window capture my laptop's webcam. It works fine when nothing is over it, i mean when i open a game for example it goes black, sometimes i can see like a bit of the right side, but that is frozen aswell. Any solutions ?

You need to enable Aero, don't minimize the Skype window you're capturing (it's okay for it to be behind other windows though) and ensure that the game you're playing is running in windowed or borderless windowed mode. If the Skype window is minimized or if a game runs in dedicated fullscreen mode, the Skype window will stop rendering and won't be captured.

Aero will also need to be enabled you plan to keep the Skype window on top of everything else.
