Question / Help True CFR?

Is there a true constant frame rate option? I have CFR checked and all my file outputs contain...

Frame rate mode : Variable
Frame rate : 60.000 FPS
Minimum frame rate : 58.824 FPS
Maximum frame rate : 62.500 FPS

Like, what's up with this? I haven't tested super long videos like this yet, but I know this kind of thing causes audio desynchronization in Adobe Premiere.

This has never been solved and I've never seen a reason why it happens. I've never seen a negative effect from it though (but I don't use Premiere). I think its just a metadata issue, not something that's actually a problem in the video file.

OBS Classic is in maintenance mode and nothing will be done to fix it, so you might try OBS Studio instead. At least with Studio, if the same problem exists, its under active development and you might be able to get an explanation or fix.

I have tried studio and it doesn't seem to have the same metadata issue with CFR. Mediainfo reports captures from studio as constant. I'm hesitant to use studio exclusively though because it doesn't have a replay buffer or any alternative to Nvidia Shadowplay's shadow mode capture yet. Granted I'm not a streamer, I just care about video recording.
