So, I finally managed to get my Elgato to work with sound through to OBS and to still get sound in my headset, which is an Astro A50, which is optical audio.
My question and potential problem is if I'm in a party and we're chatting via the PS4 (in game), since there's a delay on the Elgato, I'll be responding to things that haven't been said yet because of the delay.
Is my only solution to this to just get an internal capture card so the delay is minimized? If I set an audio delay via OBS, then any time I cut to my webcam, I won't be in sync with my webcam, unless there's a way to delay both video and audio. I could just not use my webcam as well.
I'd prefer to hear that my only solution is to buy an internal card, like the C985 from AVerMedia, as the Elgato has been giving me a lot of grief lately.
