Question / Help trouble with averTV HD DVR please help

Hey,

I'm trying to stream on obs with the averTV HD DVR c027
when I add a video capture device there are two options for the avermedia card and neither option shows a signal. I have the avermedia software open and it captures everything fine, OBS just doesn't find it. Any ideas?

That particular log doesn't particularly report a problem.

You don't have the avermedia program open at the same time as obs do you?

Yes I was running the avermedia software at the same time in the case above. I tried running obs by itself and I still have the same issue.

I also ran my stream for a minute to make a new log file.

Unfortunately that doesn't quite help either. It seems to be coming from the driver's directshow filter.

First, make sure that nothing else is using the device. Activate the device in OBS, then go to the properties of the source and hit the 'configure' button, and see if there are any options there for it that might need to be configured to get it to work. It happens in certain cases.

there aren't many options to mess around with.

I can't find anything that will help me find the signal.
