I'm having trouble streaming to Twitch at 1080p 30 FPS. I've attached the results of my speed test and the OBS log from my latest test stream.
What's happening is, depending on the settings I try to use to fix the problem, my stream is either choppy with good image quality, or smooth enough with pixelation.
VIdeo with choppy framerate: http://www.twitch.tv/xxtoyedxx/b/572102406
Preset: Faster
Video with pixelation: http://www.twitch.tv/xxtoyedxx/b/572084700
Preset: VeryFast
My PC Specs:
Chassis: Silverstone RV03 Raven 3
Mobo: Asus Rampage 3 Black
CPU: i7 960 OC to 4GHz
CPU Cooling: Corsair H80
RAM: 8GB Mushkin Enhanced DDR3-2000 CL7
Sound card: Asus Xonar Xense
GPU: 2x Asus ENGTX580 DCII in SLI
PSU: Enermax SGalaxy EVO 1250W
SSD: Corsair Force 3 240GB
HDD: Seagate 3TB HDD for storage
I know I have the upload speed. 15Mb/s should be high enough upload for 1080p. In fact Twitch doesn't like it when you use more than 3500 Kb/s bitrate.
I'm not dropping frames either. At least OBS doesn't report any frame dropping while streaming.
Any help would be appreciated. If you need any more info do not hesitate to ask and I will do my best to get it to you. I want this resolved if at all possible. I can stream at 720p without issue however I would much prefer 1080p.
