So I have no or extremely low (barely audible) sound coming from both in-game and my music (Spotify usually) while streaming. I've checked my Xonar settings and disabled GX mode as well as ensured that my application audio was turned up all the way. Still to no avail.

ASRock z68 Extreme3 Gen3 Motherboard
Intel i5 2500k 3.3GHz - Sandy Bridge Processor
EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 Video Card
ASUS Xonar Essence STX Sound Card
2x4Gb G.Skillz Ripjaws X Series RAM 1600 DDR3
Seasonic X Series X-850w Power Supply
Lite-ON DVD Burner

Also, if it helps, my Plantronics headset is being processed through the soundcard using audio jacks rather than RCA (though my speakers are taking up the RCA jacks currently.

Okay, hm. Perhaps the wrong desktop audio device selected, and it's being picked up by the mic?

Or, do you have your windows sound mixer low? Because OBS will be affected by your windows mixer levels.

Let me screenshot my current mixer settings for you. My desktop audio device has to be right because it's the only way I can detect audio in my headset.

Sorry to double post. Though I'm going to include my audio settings for OBS and my UI for my ASUS settings for you as well in case that helps.

UPDATE: Okay, so I managed to look deeper into it and have a moderator of my stream listen in on my channel while I played around with the settings. My audio works on the viewer's end, but now I can't hear audio out of my end... I think that might be an issue with drivers though...

ISSUE FIXED! I installed UNi Xonar 3rd party drivers and the audio started working even during mid-stream. Hopefully this can be a fix for future browsers.

In detail I discovered this is what was happening to my card. RCA was receiving for [Speaker] style audio even though I have speakers set in my RCA slots and my headset (headphone/mic combo) in the jack slots in the back. I was receiving audio for both speaker and headset through the [Speaker] option, but it was not processing through my stream from OBS. After searching for days and making this thread I managed to find the UNi Xonar drivers webpage (won't post unless I have mod approval, but easy enough to find) and was immediately rewarded with driver cleanup and install that fit the profile perfectly without having to change my settings to [Digital Output] or S/PDIF settings. Just make sure you refresh your default playback/recording devices and restart your computer. You should be fine from that point on.

ALSO! Requesting mod approval to post the link to the driver site. I don't want to risk any kind of warning or ban for posting it without permission.
