Hi there!

I found a solution for this. Start arma 2 then start obs in 32bit mode, add game capture it will work (at least for me).
Then close OBS 32 bit, and start OBS 64 bit. It seems to work.

If i try to add game capture in 64 bit my arma 2 freezes.

Btw if anyone know how to adjust gamma or brightness while using dxtory (stream gamma/brightness) I'd really appreciate the help!

Nvm it doesnt work. I tried to join a multiplayer server in obs 64 bit and it says the magic sentence again "These applications require administrator access to capture (start OBS as administrator to capture):
ArmA 2 OA".

Nor 32 nor 64 bit version work for me. Only till the "main menu". Once i try to join a server Game Capture shows the error.

you are totally right.. I was streaming during the update and OBS ended up with a blank screen when I review it :(

This is also being worked on in the latest test version, though thanks for the info about the workaround, very insightful and handy workaround for people for the time being.

The 32bit version in the latest test build should also work as well as long as you run it as administrator I believe, I'll have to upload 0.51.02 to attempt to fix the 64bit version as well

I just got an email from Bastian from Battleye about my workaround. He has told me in the near future Battleye will be required to be active for ArmA II(it is currently optional) and my workaround will not work.

He suggests that OBS find a way to work with Battleye... the new architecture will be a part of ArmA 3, and I foresee more problems with OBS and this upcoming game..

I hate all these stupid anti cheat things so much. All they do is cause problems and don't actually stop dedicated cheaters.

Having the same problem since today...

The strange thing is all your posts are from beginning of May. Today is 22nd and last week i also captured and didnt have any problems at all. I am very sure that all my apps was updated at this time.

The workaround fixed it for me, too. (Battleye vers. 1200, OBS V0.522b))

Hopefully the OBS guys are reading here and look into this issue.

you can actually right click your OBS and click on run as administrator this happens when the game you play runs as administrator as well
