Hi,

I am trying to record Skyrim with OBS. When I do, the record screen simply stays black. So if I tab out to refresh the window and tab back in. I get the 2 following errors.

the procedure entry point D3D11Createdeviceandswapchain could not be located in the dynamic link library

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\d3d10.dll.

and

the procedure entry point D3D11Createdeviceandswapchain could not be located in the dynamic link library

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\d3d10_1.dll.

I googled a bit and found lots of posts (in this forum aswell) that you can not record skyrim + ENB with OBS.
But that is not true. I did this the past 2 years without any problem.
The only thing that changed is that I upgraded to WIN 10 from WIN 7.
Since I did this, I can not record Skyrim with OBS anymore.

My Specs:

Graphics Card: 3072MB HIS Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition IceQ X2 Aktiv PCIe 3.0 x 16 ( Retail)

Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 AMD 990X So.AM3+ Dual Channel DD3 ATX Retail

Processor: AMD FX Series FX-8350 8x 4.00GHz So.AM3+ BOX

Ram: 16GB Corsair Vengeance red DDR3-1866 DIMM CL10 Dual Kit

I did really change nothing else than to the other files. Only Win 7 to Win 10. This must somehow have affected something.
Maybe you can give me a solution.

If you need more information, please tell me.

Thank you in advance.

ENBSeries absolutely conflicts with game capture hooking, we see it all the time. If you managed to get it to work in the past that's awesome, but if it doesn't work now it's not something anyone is going to bother troubleshooting, because "not working" is the expected result. The solution is to either 1) not use ENBSeries or 2) run Skyrim in borderless mode and use window capture.

The error is coming from whatever TESV.exe is, which is not part of OBS.

ok I tried that, but no matter what I do the window stays black. I tried window and monitor capture with skyrim in windowed mode
