Question / Help Texture->map failed 0x887a 0x887a0006

Hello,

im new to streaming and i have a problem that i hope someone can help me with.

i've set everything in OBS up (a friend helped me) but a few seconds after i start my stream i get this error message:

"Texture->map failed 0x887a 0x887a0006

Your video card or driver froze and was reset. please check for possible hardware / driver issues. This error can also occur if you have enabled opencl in x264 custom settings."

Im running dual GPU with a integrated intel HD graphics 4600 and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M graphics card. Its the integrated card thats the problem (according to the windows error message), but in OBS setting i've already set my video adapter to the geforce.

If someone has experienced the same or knows how to fix this, please help.

im having the same error and only for the last few weeks. I also know several streamers having the same issue. I see you say its not OBS yet we all get the error with different drivers. The one thing we have in common is we're using OBS so it would be nice if you look into it further and not auto say its the drivers on the GPU seeing we all have different drivers

No, laptops really suck.

Post some OBS log files and make sure your video card drivers are up to date.
