Whenever I try to stream my Microphone audio echoes to infinity. It makes the stream totally unwatchable. Help !

post your logfile. you probably havea local loop somewhere and don't realize it.

you have your desktop and mic audio input set to your yeti.

OBS settings under audio tab,.

it says desktop audio device is set to default and mic is set to disable. Its not mentioning the yeti

manually set it to the correct values.


EDIT: also, what game capture are you using?

Trying to hook process: ApplicationFrameHost.exe

this needs to be pointing to a game or D3D/OpenGL application

That isn't how it works. remove that game capture, close the action software and make a new "video capture device" source.

Yes, elgato is for streaming consoles and 2 PC setups. if you have neither of those then you need to remove it and just add a game capture to your game.

whenever I try to watch the stream on my phone to make sure its okay it echoes. The first thing I said doesn't echo but the 2nd does

you dont even have headsets? what is your default playback device in windows? you need some headset or something. OBS has to default to a speaker. its probably why its defaulting to the mic for desktop audio. not sure, but plug a headset in.
