Do you think you can add follower countdowns, subscriber countdowns, and donation countdowns?
Like for example "Giveaway in 40 followers: 0/40" "Giveaway in 40 subs: 0/40" "Donation goal $0.00/$40.00"
And if you hit the said amount something will pop up on stream + a noise?
I love the plugin and I just think that would make it even better :)

Looks like a great app but I'm having problems with the widgets.

I have two locations, I have copies of widgets and files in my "D:\Streaming Stuff\TeeBoard\TeeBoard\" (My install directory)

And then I have a copy in my "Documents" folder under "M:\Backup\Napsterbater\My Documents\TeeBoard" (Note: My document folder is redirected via Windows to "M:\Backup\Napsterbater\My Documents\") seems only the copy in my documents is being updated.

Id rather have a) an option to pick where the Widgets/Files are saved/updated or b) have them stay under the TeeBoard Install directory (as intended?).

This is Windows 8.1 pro x64

The ones in your user documents are the correct ones. Those are actually a copy of the ones in the install directory, but because the default install directory is non writeable, they're copied to a writeable location, which is your user documents. That is the proper way to do things.

Id rather have a) an option to pick where the Widgets/Files are saved/updated or

Not an option as you could then still place them in a non writeable location.

b) have them stay under the TeeBoard Install directory (as intended?).

Not sure what you mean with "as intended". Files that need to be writeable should not be and can not be in the install directory as explained above. The reason they are there is because they came with the installer and at first launch are copied to your user documents folder. If I could hide them, I would, but I can't, again because I don't have permission to do so.

Because you have changed the default location of your user documents, a (crucial) file to making the widgets work may have been placed in the wrong location.
Please let me know where your appdata folder is located. The default location is:

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\
If the above location exists, see if you can find this file:

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#Security\FlashPlayerTrust\teeboard-widgets.cfg

If the file exists, open it in notepad and let me know what is in it (should be 2 paths).

Hello

First off I love this tool a lot!

Im having an issue with the text file for the latest follower. It seems it will not update for me. Its my first time using this text file through OBS. Every time I load up the stream its there with the latest follower. How ever when someone new follows the text does not update with the newest follower.

I tried searching your videos and reading all these discussions. Was hoping for some guidance on correcting this.

Also once I started using teeboard my OBS now crashes when ever I close it after using teeboard. Any known reason why that would happen? Its not a big deal but sometimes have to reset my scenes as they get lost or ruined.

Just checked and works as expected. Make sure you have the "Save latest followers to a text file" option enabled under Notifications Widgets -> Followers and the Followers toggle switch is ON (bottom left).

That's an issue with the 64bit version of the CLR Browser plugin. Use 32bit OBS + CLR Browser to fix it.

Thanks I will try that out in a few hours.

I'll deal with the crashing as 32bit OBS has issues with streaming for me and other people I know. Teeboard so good Ill handle the crash for it :D

There should be no issues crashing or streaming using the 32bit version.

But it is installed in a writable location. Not everyone installs stuff in program files. and I hate apps/programs that clutter my documents folder needlessly.

Not an option as you could then still place them in a non writeable location.

If a user did that then that is their own fault. Should still be an option.

Again assuming everyone uses default install directory. include an option or an "advanced" option in the installer or program to change location or pick install directory or documents or even a custom location.

You're free to install the program wherever you want (as long is it's not your user documents).
User documents, as the name implies, is for files that the user uses.. which is what the TeeBoard widgets are, files that you use to add to OBS. Files that need to be modifiable (permissions) by TeeBoard. The one and only correct location is the user documents folder.

If a user did that then that is their own fault. Should still be an option.
In which case I'd then be replying to people what to not do multiple times a day.. sorry but I got better things to do.

Again assuming everyone uses default install directory. include an option or an "advanced" option in the installer or program to change location or pick install directory or documents or even a custom location.
The install directory is irrelevant. The user documents is the correct location for "user" files.

M:\Backup\Napsterbater\My Documents\TeeBoard
http://absolute/

That's what should be in there, so that's not the problem. When you check the Clock Widget in TeeBoard and click the "eye" icon at the top right, does it show the clock?

Well, I'm not sure why that page (that's a Twitch website page by the way) would display like that. Have you tried actually authorizing (logging in) even though the displayed text is off?

I'll forward this to Twitch, see what they have to say (which may take a while).

Reported it here: https://github.com/justintv/Twitch-API/issues/213

If you don't mind, contact me here: https://sites.google.com/site/deezja/contact
and I'll walk you through an alternative way to authorize the application.

----
Edit: According to Twitch this is due to a corrupt font (on your end). If that is the case, you should still be able to just authorize the application. In other words, it's just a display bug with the authorization, the application itself will be fine.

The fonts used on that page are: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial

Would it be possible so that when nothing is playing it says "No track playing"?
Afraid not. The data loaded from last.fm does include a "is playing" property but it's unreliable. Depending on which music service or music player you use the property value (true/false) will be correct/incorrect.
