Question / Help taking too long to encode HELP! OwO

I really don't know why but it keeps on saying "taking too long to encode" and "skipping frames". I looked at everything else and tried everything but it keeps on saying those same words. Is there anything that can help get rid of this? Everything just becomes so laggy! DX

Post a logfile and we may be able to help. There are instructions on how inside a stickied thread at the top of this forum. Or under the link reading 'if you are having a problem, post a logfile' when you create a new thread. Or when you use the 'post reply' button at the bottom left of this page, under the same link (right below the text response input box).

But it's still very laggy for some reason and I tried lowering the birate to 3000 yet it's still laggy when I preview it!

Define 'laggy'. In-game lag? The video stops and starts? Runs too slowly? Stutters? 'Lag' is used by a lot of people to describe a lot of things. You may also want to move to a faster h264 encoding preset; try Ultrafast. Image quality will suffer, but CPU usage will drop.

It stutters alot both in game and in the stream
Here's another log file from a 1 minute preview instead the other one that was done in a few seconds.

Streaming on Pentium is no bueno. You will need to downscale big time. Downscale your output resolution (Settings > Video > Resolution Downscale) until you find something that works for you. You might also need to lower your FPS too, but tinker with your downscale first.

Simply put: your rig is too weak to play games AND encode video at a high quality.

this question is pretty easy to solve

23:43:40: Video Encoding: x264
23:43:40: fps: 30
23:43:40: width: 1600, height: 900
23:43:40: preset: veryfast
23:43:40: profile: high
23:43:40: keyint: 250
23:43:40: CBR: no
23:43:40: CFR: no
23:43:40: max bitrate: 10000
23:43:40: buffer size: 10000
23:43:40: quality: 10

on a poor cpu ... you gotta downscale by a lot also drop that bitrate

since your latest log says you dropped to 3k you still have to downscale to like 360p going down to something like 15-20 fps and use the preset ultrafast also a bitrate of 1500 will be more than enough at this resolution.

long story short no matter what you try your system wont be able to handle anything:/

That certainly helps alot :)
I'm worry the quality of the videos will be bad though but I guess that's what I get

You can use a higher bitrate since you aren't streaming. YouTube will compress it one way or another. Not 100% sure if there's a certain bitrate you should target for YouTube uploads though.
