Question / Help Take gameplay from my computer, stream It on my laptop?

I would like to stream League of Legends gameplay with no lag, and a webcam. I have 2 options. I could transfer the gameplay from my computer, to my laptop (the one that has a webcam). Or I could transfer the webcam input from my laptop to my computer, and use the gameplay directly. Which option is better, or more importantly, even possible? And how can I do it?

It would probably be better to use a capture card to capture your desktop with your laptop and stream from your laptop, if it has good enough hardware.

Not sure I quite understand. I'm getting the gameplay from my PC, and I want to have a webcam as well. But my laptop is the only thing with the webcam. Does a capture card take the gameplay from my PC and spit it out onto my laptop?

Not quite. The capture card connects to the laptop so it can receive a copy of the audio and video that your gaming PC outputs. You can then add the capture card to OBS as a video capture device.

When I viewed some of the capture card websites, they all had HDMI ports, but on my laptop, I don't see any HDMI slorts.

Assuming the laptop is going to be handling encoding/streaming, you would connect the HDMI cable from your gaming computer's video card to the capture card, then the capture card would connect to your laptop with a USB cable.
