Question / Help System requirements for streaming?

I have an envy 17 laptop
i7 duo 2.4gh
8gb of ram
GeForce nvidia 740m (pretty sure, I'm at work so I can't check)
And I use an elgato hd capture.

I have tried streaming in 720 but my signal drops out about once an hour. Just wondering what I could do to stop that , or if I just can't with the laptop I have. I do run at 25fps and 1600kbs also on veryfast. I'm trying not to have to buy another computer , I just bought this a few months ago and it wasn't cheap. Lol.

Drops once an hour? As in disconnects? Are you dropping frames at all? If you are, reduce your bitrate, and it'll probably help prevent twitch from disconnecting you as well.
