Question / Help SweetFX and OBS

Hey guys even though I've only just joined this forum I been using twitch and OBS as well as Xsplit for over a year now but only just now had the upload speed to actually stream a half decent picture now.

My issue is that my picture gets degraded badly when I use SweetFX and stream at the same time. Right now it seems like you can only use SweetFX in window capture rather then game capture, is that correct? As this is a big part of my problem as the picture seems to be quite a lot sharper with game capture but SweetFX wont work with that on. If there is a plugin or some sort of work around would love to know, any help would be appreciated.

I also attached my log file but I have to say, since I posted my original post, I tweaks with settings more and it does look a lot better than what it did do but these videos are at my current settings. I'm also on a 1MB upload though my actual speed isn't quite that, its around .850k or so.

Game capture doesn't grab SweetFX as most people know, you have to run the game in a window or borderless window with window capture.

You had me concerned for a moment there. It's almost assuredly just due to 1.) your lack of bitrate, and 2.) the way that sweetfx changes your image. Your bitrate is super low, and I think that adding sweetfx causes the distortion (due to lack of bitrate) simply to become more pronounced. It was really equally present in both, but the sweetfx image was brighter and you could notice it more easily there.

Not sure if there's a good solution, just a situation that's caused by bitrate more than anything. You're handling it pretty well as it is though, you seem to be quite knowledgeable when it comes to streaming settings. Using the preset, lowering the resolution, it's a pretty good setup for someone who doesn't have much bitrate to spare.

Ok Jim I really appreciate the time to take a look at it... As i stated above I had actually tweaked with a lot of settings since my OP but its always nice to get any advice, especially from a developer to boot!! I think I'm at the max picture quality I'm likely to get and yeah I also too thought it could just simply be my damn bitrate, its a shame I'm on my absolute max for upload speed where I live so I guess this is the best I'll get till I move haha...
