Question / Help Surface Pro 3 SubRegion and Game Capture problems

I'm trying to record a simple video on OBS on my surface pro 3.

EDIT: Now I feel as though this isn't actually a SubRegion or Game Capture problem, but I really don't know...

Reproduction Steps 1:
  • Create one source as Monitor Capture
  • Select SubRegion
  • Select entire screen with region
  • Resolution in field is 1728 x 1152, Position is 0,0 (Monitor on Surface Pro 3 is 2160 x 1440)
  • Set as base resolution
  • Output resolution is 1728 x 1152 yet mouse is displayed as if it was in 2160 x 1440
  • Output video https://vid.me/IncT

Reproduction Steps 2:
  • Create one source as Monitor Capture
  • Uncheck SubRegion (the grayed out box still has old 1728x1152 resolution)
  • Manually set resolution to 2160 x 1440 in settings
  • Output is in 2160 x 1440 but only records the previously mentioned amount
  • Output video https://vid.me/aFZ0

Reproduction Steps 3:
  • Create one source as Monitor Capture
  • Set SubRegion manually to 2160 x 1440
  • View SubRegion and it goes off the screen
  • Set as base resolution
  • It worked... (wasn't expecting that)
Reproduction Steps 4:
  • Create one source as Game Capture
  • Start a game with resolution 1440x900 windowed mode
  • Point Game Capture to this game
  • Set resolution to 1440x900 in settings menu
  • Output resolution is 1440x900 but doesn't record entire game window
Here's a random log file I think from number 4:

If you need a log from each one of them I can provide that (I just forgot to get them right after I did them and they already got pushed out of the recent list).

To fix step 4 I found out that you have to make sure Stretch to fit screen is disabled. Or, you can record at a resolution that's 1.25x the size of the real resolution and then stretch to fit screen. Then it works.
