Hi best OBS,

I was looking for some capture cards to stream pc games. And the AVermedia Live Game HD - Capture card came out of the test.

So i was wondering do you support this card to stream with it?

It is supposed to work, as is the LGP Lite I have by using the "Stream Engine" Program and then selecting that as a video source. However this far all I've been able to produce is a black screen. I do know some people have managed to use Avermedia products successfully but personally can't recommend them.

Because you get a black screen you don't recommend them?,

Maby the setup you have is not so good?

Many large streamers use this capture card to take strain off of their processor. You can check out http://twitch.tv/lirik he uses OBS and has a 2 PC setup along with the capture card you stated and his streams are beautiful at source.

Thanks, But i dont know how to setup my setup with this card..

I have 1 screen, and want this capture card, but dont know the setup (cables)...

My gpu hase 2/3 hdmi in, and my monitor hase also hdmi and DVI

So how do i must setup to record/stream my PC gameplay. Dont wanna play in the preview screen because that gives lagg.

Precisely, my own experience has been negative so I personally do not recommend the products.
For a single pc setup using a capture card will usually give little if any benefit. But if you insist on calling my setup bad with no knowledge of it I see no further reason to attempt to assist you, explanation for the probable lack of performance gain can be found using the search function on the forums. Good day.

Yes, it is supported and works fine in OBS.

No, it will not reduce your CPU usage. If you aren't planning to stream console content or use a 2PC setup you most likely have no reason to use a capture card.

No, you do not have to use the Stream Engine middleware, it can be added directly to OBS as a video capture device. If you were trying to do this at all then presumably your black screen issue was related to how you were trying to configure or use the hardware.
