Bug Report Suddenly getting FPS drops using OBS

Hi, for the last few months i've been getting problems with my FPS while running obs, especially while using my browser, windows etc. Sometimes my fps will go down to 9-15 outside of a game, and inside some games the performance seems to drop a little as well. I am sure my computer can manage to encode and run the games as it used to. Perhaps i'm doing something wrong with the scenes that causes my computer to use more resources?

If someone has any idea what's causing this please let me know in this thread :)

Ok so i changed my game capture source to capture my game as a global source (i think) and that improved my FPS significantly. I'll test it out now, but if anyone has any ideas etc feel free to share :p

Yes, monitor capture was most likely your issue, avoid it on windows 7 and vista. Otherwise, this is sort of the wrong forum I think.
