As with everything, look through ALL of the settings, figure out what the labels mean, and set them to work for you, not the other way around. Defaults rarely work completely.
And since your screenshot is not the default setting, I'll also add to remember all of where you've been and what you did there. Don't just mess with stuff, leave, and forget. And don't leave a mess that didn't work...because it's still a mess! If something didn't work, clean it up!

Some settings in OBS are not easy to reset (back to defaults). They not saved neither in Profiles nor in Scene Collections.

Like I said, remember where you've been and what you did there. You might have to put things back manually before it works. If you leave a mess and then fix the original problem, you might not know it because the mess that you left is now tripping you up.
