Question / Help Streaming Xbox One

Hello everyone, been a long time fan of this community :). I've done my searching in the forums and haven't seen any similar issues as to the ones I'm experiencing.

I'm trying to stream Xbox One with my black magic intensity pro shuttle through USB 3.0.. I'm unable to pull a image feed into obs, I'm only able to pull the sound. When I use black magic's supplied software (media express), I am able to pull an image with the settings of "720p, 59.94 fps, 10-bit YUV". This is with my xbox one display settings already set for 720p.

Now when I move over to OBS and try to duplicate settings i do:

Device: Decklink Video Capture
Configure: Video - HD 720p 59.94 - 10 bit 4:2:2 YUV (this is the issue read below)
Audio: Decklink Audio capture

I hit okay, and the video shows back up on my TV, OBS shows black screen, audio works in OBS. When I go back into configure in OBS, the video format shows NTSC - 8 bit 4:2:2 YUV... It seems like it keeps defaulting back not keeping my video selection... Any ideas as to why? If I use that NTSC option in blackmagic's software, the video doesn't show. So it has to be this stopping it in OBS, it's just not taking my 720p 10 bit option and saving it.

If I hit custom resolution and put 1280x720 with 59.94 FPS and preview I lose my audio, and when I look at my video format, it select HD 720p @ 59.94 - 8 bit 4:2:2 YUV.

It seems like I can't get it to save or select the 10 bit 4:2:2 YUV option. Any help would be greatly appreciated :).

PC Specs:

MB: Crosshair V Formula Z
Ram: 32 GB G.SKILL Trident X Series
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit
GFX: Radeon R9 290X - 8GB
CPU: AMD FX-9590 - 4.7GHZ

Just downloaded, nice newer interface. Went to the add blackmagic device, it saw my shuttle, displays it back on my tv, OBS picks up audio, still displays black screen for preview.

I just noticed in the multi-platform when i go into my settings under video its using Direct 3D 11 and then for video adapter it is blank.. Could that be why video isn't rendering into OBS?

Any suggestions? There's not much room for editing options in the multi platform. I add a scene, then add a black magic device, pick my shuttle, then select video output (720p @ 59.94). I do not see any options for selecting the 10 bit YUV though. And when I add a capture device, it does the same thing as in normal OBS, captures audio, no video.

Well i downloaded both wirecast and xsplit, both will pull audio and video from my black magic, it uses the device "blackmagic WDM capture". Which is good, it's an option in OBS. I select it, all other options go blank. I click configure, check override video mode (Same thing i did in xsplit), go to 720p 59.94fps, pixel format set to 10 bit YUV.. Yay! All options we needed are now enabled. Click on to close the device settings, that used to be black screen is now a full red screen... Maybe OBS just doesn't support this?

OBS doesn't yet support 10 bit yuv / 10 bit rgb yet. Are you not able to make 8 bit yuv show up?

OBS won't show the colorspace it doesn't support. Can you try using your capture card in GraphStudioNext and show us all the colorspace your capture card supports?

My screenshot shows all the colorspace my "test capture" supports, only a few shows up on OBS. My "Test Capture" only generates a test pattern with no hardware needed.

Any suggestions on where to download it from, everywhere i look it seems pretty sketchy.

No video displays when I select 8 bit, even if i do so in the black magic software. it seems to require 10 bit YUV

Any devices I have managed to pull video from use the BlackMagic WDM Capture and not the DeckLink Video Capture option. If i go into multiplatform, add a source, black magic device, it see's my intensity shuttle. As soon as I select it I get the video going through to my TV but OBS shows nothing, no matter which mode I Select ( 720p @ 59.59 fps) nothing still gets displayed in OBS.

Can you run DShowPinsAndCaps2 file and copy all text it outputs? This may show all the details a capture card may support. The developers may then use the information to add support for a new colorspace in future versions.

If it is "r210" or "v210" colorspace, both being 10 bit, then i might add the new colorspace myself for old OBS.

I did, it says it needs to be moderator approved. Here is a section out of it, this is what xsplit uses to display video, the WDM capture.

*edit* i guess the copy/paste was to much for a single post without moderator approval, i broken up the copy paste.
