Question / Help streaming without a pc?

Ok so, after a tiresome setup with OBS... I've found that the viewers I've had really don't care what my setup looks like... They come because they enjoy my gameplay and commentary of me and my co-host.

So I'm undergoing some massive downgrades in equipment. Nothing against OBS, I love it, but there are just some issues within the streaming process that are just cumbersome when doing it daily with a busy work and family life.

I already know I'm getting the AVermedia Game Capture HD 2 standalone capture unit to handle all my off stream content recordings and youtube uploads...

Is there a device similar to the above mentioned device that instead of recording just streams? Like a standalone streaming device?

I'm starting to make the move to next gen, but I still play many last gen console games, so I need something that isn't a pc/laptop that might be able to do some simple video feed capture and live commentary, reaction cam would be awesome but that is highly unlikely.

When playing PS4 stuff, I just use the native ps4 streaming option, and will capture archived footage of the stream using the avermedia game capture hd 2.

Just need something for my ps3 at the moment...

Thanks guys

Well, we cannot really help you in that regard. You will have to google for something like that.
As I am not sure what you mean by cumbersome streaming process.

I don't have a dedicated studio that is always setup. I have to always move things and setup a hanging green screen, Read adjust lighting issues, reconfig audio setup since I use a complex analog to digital mix setup for automatic audio ducking for commentary... which also results in 2-3 test streams before the actual stream to resync the audio with the gameplay (for some reason the time in ms is not the same with my audio setup).

Even thought I can simplify the obs setup to just have gameplay and commentary, at that point I would rather just have a simple device that could do that so I don't have to have my consoles next to my pc.

like i stated before, OBS isn't a pain or anything... it's just that I'm getting tired of having such a complex setup that I would like to take a break and simplify... because I only use my custom built pc for streaming i could sell it for a much better profit and wait for the re-release of the new obs... which will hopefully have a lot of features that will simplify my current setup and make it easier to do what I've been doing. Just an audio ducking feature would save me 30+min in setup time.

How about moving a pc to your consoles, and never having to change any of the other setup? Setting up a green screen doesn't depend on using obs with a computer or something else. Same with audio, once that's setup, why do you have to redo that every time?

The dedicated streaming device could for example be a laptop with a capture card, which might very well be cheaper than getting something that handles the streaming all by itself. Does that even exist? If you see how much has to be set up, I wonder if that's even possible on a device without an advanced interface (screen + kb/mouse).
