Question / Help Streaming with Wireless??

I have an upload speed of 20Mbps on my laptop when I run it wireless. Is that good enough to be able to live stream?

You can probably stream but expect frame drops / lag issues since wireless is too volatile for a stable stream.

im 10 minutes in and no frame drops so that's good? I will surely keep an eye on it. Also if anyone is familure with laptops is it all right for them to get hot?

If you can you should avoid wireless for gaming / streaming . There are some cooling pads available that you can use for your laptop so it stays cooler. http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=2243862011

I stream with wireless and have never dropped a frame due to connection and i stream up to 5mb/s

there seems to be a lot of hate towards wireless, but i have never noticed any problems at all

I was able to stream for over an hour with no frame drops. Now Im sure there will be good days and bad days depending on who is doing what in my house but hopefully it will be more good then baf

A friend of mine streams with a basic 150mbps wifi usb stick. No problems for him or his viewers.

So I have been trying to stream using wifi for a couple days now, the issue I am running into is that my internet just kicks completely off. And the computer acts as if the wifi adapter is not even plugged in.
