Question / Help Streaming With A Capture Card -- Delaying Desktop Audio

Hello everyone.

I've got my audio setup working perfectly -- I'm in sync everywhere EXCEPT for one place: my desktop.

To make things simple:

My Webcam and Mic are in sync. My capture card video and audio are in sync. And both combos work in sync together.

HOWEVER - I'm talking with people on my TeamSpeak. My TeamSpeak isn't unbearably out of sync, but it is noticeable. It is 'rushed'

I'm doing a test stream right now at www.twitch.tv/sirzuidy if someone can hop out and help me.

Essentially, I need my desktop audio to also have a delay over my stream.

Thanks!

Desktop audio can't be delayed currently, it will in the future though. This is unfortunately one of the burdens of using USB 2.0 capture devices that really frustrate the living heck out of me.

You can however work around the problem (albeit a bit painful to do). Here's what I recommend to do: set all time offsets for all audio to 0 if you've changed it. Then, in advanced, use 2000 scene buffering time, and use global audio time offset to shift all time forward equal to the delay of your USB 2.0 capture device (usually this is about 1500 or so), then in the capture device's source properties, set -it's- audio time offset to -1500 (negative 1500). It's a pain, but it should work.

Well if there's a way to bump a year old thread, I've found it! XD

I'm once again trying to stream with my same old ElGato after getting Super Smash Bros for WiiU.

I'm having the same problems, and I'm wondering if there's been any further advancements in fixing this issue?
