Question / Help Streaming with 1mb Upload?

What settings would be the best for little to no lag with my 1mb upload (U-Verse, 5down 1 up)? I also have a slow computer, but I've found that my game doesn't lag when I test stream. I'm not at my PC at the moment so I can't share my current OBS settings. If anyone has had success streaming decently with slow internet like mine, please share your settings!

First give the estimator a shot https://obsproject.com/estimator it should provide you with the right basic settings based on what content you're planning to stream. Enter 1000kbps as your maximum upload.

The Estimator gave me some recommendations, but I'm not at my PC so I wasn't able enter the correct CPU and GPU. I would also like a more detailed list of settings, since the Estimator doesn't really give much. Thanks though!

If the estimator didn't specify what it should be set to, and OBS itself doesn't tell you what settings you need to use for the service you're streaming to, then you should leave it at its default.
