Question / Help Streaming to Zoom

Good Afternoon.

I know there has been a lot of chatter about using OBS to stream to Zoom. I found this in your forums but it does not really address the issue. I wanted to offer a case study.

I am a tap dance instructor who uses Zoom to run live lessons to students across the country. I use 2 cameras. The issue with Zoom is, when I sign into the same meeting on the same account from 2 devices it gets really laggy so my hopeful solution is to stream it though OBS. You will see the way I have me OBS set up in the attached pic. How can I make this work?

TYIA.

That post does address the issue. You want to run one instance of Zoom so you can have different cameras.

OBS and the Virtualcam plugin can do that. You would make an OBS scene with the different cameras arranged how you like. The Virtualcam plugin creates a virtual webcam output that Zoom uses as an input.

However, performance wise, there's no real indication that OBS plus Zoom will perform better on your machine than two copies of Zoom.
