Question / Help Streaming settings for i7 4790k - 960gtx 2gb - 8GB RAM

Hello guys,

I've started streaming some days ago and I just cannot find settings where the quality is ok, without lag & without fps drops ingame.

I'm using 2500 bitrate, x264, and all standard settings, downscale 1.5

If I use this settings my fps drops from 300 to 230 and less, result is that my game isnt smooth anymore and not playable at my level of playing at competitive mode.

My download is 160mpbs and upload 10mpbs.

Could anyone please fix me some good settings so I still have the smooth gameplay as I have without streaming?

Any time you stream, you are going to have to sacrifice FPS. Also what model is your monitor that you are using? Because if you monitor doesnt refresh at those frame rates, you are just wasting frames. You generally dont need to stream at anything other then 30 or 60 FPS. Could you also tell us what game you are streaming and also post your log file
 
I've used lanczos as filter now and enable aero back and it seems to be "fixxed", still fps drops but its still smooth.

Or should I normally use billinear?
 
Those wont affect your issues too much. What the problem is gonna be is you wasting frames because you're leaving the game uncapped instead of turning on vertical sync. If your monitor only refreshes at say 120hz, you are wasting over 100 frames that your GPU and Processor is having to output and are being wasted, and that could be put towards your game being smooth. I recommend turning on V Sync in game but leaving the frames uncapped, and it will only allow the game to play at the frames your monitor is able to display, thus making you not lose any frames. If you dont know your monitors refresh rate, right click your desktop, select screen resolution, click advanced settings, and monitor, and it will tell you. If your monitor is only 60hz, then it will actually be smoother for you to only play at 60 then 300
 
Yes I understand that but the problem is I play at high lvl cs:go and with vsycn turned on you have mouse lag input. I cant' play decent with that
 
I was streaming and I had like 40 followers and the Latest donator was shown.

After a few hours when I was back from training I started stream again and Latest follower still was shown but Followers today was reset to 0 and Latest donator isnt show anymore...

How can I fix that?
