Question / Help Streaming Processors

What is the difference and benefit of a K Series processor, the processor I have ordered for my stream only rig is
Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-4790 (3.6GHz) 8MB Cache though i still have time to change it to a

Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-4790k (4.0GHz)

Is there a clear and significant advantage to the other processor, or should the i7-4790 do the job (looking to stream at 720p)

I should mention this is a Stream Only pc, my gaming PC is a separate rig entirely that does a decent job of gaming and streaming all in one, but I want to take the strain off my CPU on that rig and bump quality.
 
Higher base and turbo clock speeds obviously, and K-series processors are unlocked allowing you to overclock them. The price difference between the two is fairly small so there's not a real reason not to go with the 4790K unless you know for sure you aren't going to overclock anything and really just want to save that bit of money.
