Question / Help Streaming N64 and Steam games

I've been having some issues with streaming.

I can't seem to get Left 4 Dead to work with OBS. When I couldn't link it directly to the game, I tried just doing a monitor capture (I'm split between my TV and laptop). And then when you start the game and it goes full screen, it just comes up completely blank on OBS.

The same thing happened while I attempted to use project 64 N64 emulator. I'd have a monitor capture setup, and it works right up until I turn the Project 64 full screen, then it goes blank the same way Left 4 Dead did with Steam.

I did; however, get Vice City to work from Steam for whatever it's worth.

If anybody has any tips on how to get around this, I'd appreciate it!

Is L4D not being played on your computer? It should work fine with game capture, unless it's on a console or something. As for N64 I think that may require the recent test build

It's running on my PC, I have it through steam.

And as for the N64, not sure what you mean by recent test build?
