I am thinking of buying my friends computer and want to know if it is capable of streaming at 720p at 60 frames smoothly
The specs he gave me are as follows
Intel Core i5 - 2500K CPU @3.30 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680
13 GB Memory

My internet speed is 94 Download and 10 Upload

I plan on streaming via the internal capture card Elgato HD 60 Pro

Any help would be appreciated!
 
i5s generally run out of juice after 720p@30fps, if you're gaming on the same system you're streaming from.
If you are planning to stream console gameplay via the capture card, this should be able to do 720@60 (though you still won't have the bitrate to do so properly, at least on Twitch).

If you aren't planning to stream console gameplay, you DO NOT NEED a capture card, and it WILL NOT reduce any CPU or GPU load.
