Question / Help Streaming from one PC to another which is not on the same network.

Hi,

I've been looking into setting up a RTMP server using NGINX to stream from one PC to another instance of OBS on another PC which is not on the same local network.

The idea is to have someone stream their gameplay from another country and to be streamed to my PC so I can add it as a source and output it onto our multiple accounts. I was wondering if this was achievable using RTMP? Or am I to look into other solutions here.

Setup RTMP server, get the other person to stream to that, add a media source to OBS which has the stream URI (deselect local source).

I've attempted to set-up an RTMP server through NGINX but I seem to run into a few issues, are you able to help by providing a step-by-step guide?

Most thing that you want to do, is hard to complete without the white IP. (to import other streams use 'Media Source' or 'VLC Video Source')
