Hello -

First of all thanks for looking into this problem!

THE PROBLEM:

I usually get about 200-225 FPS when not streaming Counter-Strike Global Offensive
When I start streaming, my FPS ranges from 75-150, which is a dramatic and notable difference.
That affects my game play, which isn't good for the stream :D

What I've done and experimented with so far:

1. Use the OBS estimator tool.
2. Tried using NVEC instead of x264
3. Used superfast, ultra fast, and faster

Anybody who can help, I can send a couple nice CS:GO skins to.
If not, a donation is also possible.

I will be subscribed to this forum post, and will answer and respond to inquires and advice immediately.

Thanks again!

try streaming without the webcam ... your cpu shouldnt have any problem with 720p30 on veryfast preset while aero is disabled and you are using game capture only factor could be the webcam

The webcam is extremely important for streaming.
The reason for my concern is I copied most CS:GO professional streamer's CPU specs when building this system.
For that reason, I'm very confused why I cannot run the same settings as them.

Okay, tried that out. Which improved the FPS by about 10.
Which now on average I'm getting around 80FPS+ now.
Nothing ever goes over 150

keNzoMLG, two things:

1 - CS:GO is stupid.
2 - Try setting OBS's thread usage to processors "1-7". CS:GO (as of late at least) seems to HEAVILY use core 0 (more than before) and OBS might be starving it of data. Please let me know if that helps the issue.

well you might aswell tell csgo to use as startup properties
-threads 4
+fps_max 150
-high

and also put as custom x264 parameter on obs threads=6
